We visited the hippodrome for the Prix d'Amerique. I have to say I've seldom seen such a perfect organization for such a big event.

The Paris-Vincennes racecourse, situated in the heart of the Bois de Vincennes in the east of Paris, has the reputation of being a mecca for trot. Came for Prix d'Amerique few times and loved it A-Z! Big, beautiful, good food and lpads ofnscrens everywhere!

If you are a harness racing fan then you just have to visit this race track at least once preferably during the Prix d'Amerique weekend

We own harness horses in the USA so we were thrilled to see how the French race. We were impressed with the beautiful glass to track table side restaurants. If you want to experience pure excitement, just pop down to the trotting racing at VINCENNES. We were here in October and came here at night,harness racing under the floodlights just so good and an unbelievable experience. Trotting races with large fields and crowds waving flags. I have visited over 100 racetracks and this was the first to serve Moet & Chandon at the snack bar not to mention crepes. They also had the token popcorn which is necessary at a track. For any harness fan this race is a pilgrimage you must make.
