The statue is not all that special or artistic, but it is set in a great area. Word is that Hemmingway threw stuff at it while drinking in the cafe nest door. I don't think you should do the same.

We were walking along the streets here just looking at everything and ran across this statue. We had to look him up right then to see who he was. Turns out he was a general in Napoleon's army. His nickname was Bravest of the Brave. Too bad it is no longer in a park or green space, it is really... More

Worth a few minutes. Amazing to see the number of battles Marshal Ney fought. Compelled me to look up his history and read of his death.

napoleon made Marshal Ney prince of Moscow. He was one of Napoleon's itrusted general's. He was nicknamed the bravest of the brave.all this my husband was able to tell me as he is very interest in history. The statue is near the Jardin Marco Polo

My husband loves history so was able to tell me all about Marechal Ney who was known as the bravest of the brave. He was one of Napoleon's most important generals.He was executed in 7th December 1815. His statue is situated just before you enter the Jardin Marco Polo.

My husband loves history so was able to tell me about Marshall Michel Ney who was one of Napoleon's most important generals.Of course he took a photo of the statue. His statue is next to the Jardin Marco Polo.
