Being a romantic, and an architect, this was one of the things I most wanted to see at the Palace grounds. I loved it and being able to stand where so many influential people once stood was surreal

The temple is a rather grand folly, showing what you can do with unlimited amounts of other peoples money! It is very pretty and in a delicate setting next to a stream. It is well worth the small diversion from the Triannons although it probably takes longer to walk to than you'd spend inside it. You may have to wait... More

Richly decorated in a delightful setting.Marie Antoinette and Mozart himself stepped here. Enjoy the monument.

On your way to the hameau, you will see on your right the temple of love. We didn't feel the need to get closer since the feet were really hurting, but we took some pictures from afar, which does look good.

After visiting the Chateau and the Trianons, the Temple of Love is nothing to write home about. It is very small, maybe 50' diameter and remotely tucked into a path surrounded by a slow flowing stream about a 5 minute walk from Trianons..

Walked by this a few times during our walk around the Trianons. This is amazing park open to the public. Thank it's great that locals have the use of it.

We passed this temple while visiting the garden. It is a simple one but very elegant. The green areas around it enhanced its beauty.

It is called temple of love but it is just like all other ordinary temples!!! Still beautiful and worthy. The environment around this temple is so natural and exotic.

Marie Antoinette's temple to love in the gardens of Petit Trianon is very pretty but a little over the top for what was supposed to be her discreet and simple palace. Nonetheless it is an impressive folly in what are quite simple gardens ( compared to the Versailles palace gardens).

Thank Carol S
