We arrived in the evening, as many of the tourists were departing. The sunset light on the Cite was enchanting. We were too late, however, to visit some of the attractions.

Hotel was lovely staff very friendly would go again good location close to the medieval cite and easy access to the airport and Carcassonne well worth a visit the rooms were very clean an the hotel in general was well maintained

Yes best place to park is outside castle there is parking. This place is busy on sundays as everything else is closed

I suspect slightly cooler but not less spectacular. It is a gorgeous place
