Le Domaine d'O, field of art and culture, is an open show instead of all year. It houses mediterranean gardens, a pine forest centennial accessible to walkers and live shows for all: children and adults.

Nice park to visit

Is beautiful park of Montpellier. There is a theater, shows, music. You can do a Pick nick and Walk around. During the summer there is a festival of music very nice.

All year around Domaine d'O is the setting for musical events, festivals, theatres, art and food. The atmosphere is relaxing and a bit exotic.

Domaine d'O is the perfect spot for a quite picnic and reflection. During the week and when there is not a festival or event it is hush quiet in the rose gardens and under the silvery olive tress. Lovely spot.

I went thinking I could have a look around - unfortunately everything was closed. I arrived by tram and walked to the park - nothing was opened - I went to two entrances. Maybe when an event is on - there is more to see - so I would check - I would not advise the tram ride.

Just by the tramway sits the domaine - gardens are lovely, the attractions are interesting and a fine little theatre all presided over by the delightful Christopher Crimes - oddly a bloke from the UK in charge of a cultural centre in France. Good enough to encourage you I hope. More info around the area on www.heraultwhatson.info
