I went a few times on a recent visit to France but if you aren't 'in the clique' you aren't made to feel particularly welcome. When I spoke to the English landlord he tried the old 'je ne comprends pas' trick not knowing that I spoke fluent French. The evening he screened an England world cup qualifier and also put... More

This is the pub to go to if you are an English speaker who either lives in Montpellier or is traveling through the city. The staff is friendly, happy hour lasts three hours long and they play decent music. It's right in the center of town and just a couple blocks from the train station. It's great.
