Constructed in the first half of the 18th century. Architecturally, there is something funny about this church. Everything was built and calculated in the expectation of a dome. But the dome was never built... Aside from this detail, not very spectacular.

This church was nice inside, but not compared to cathedrals I had seen in other cities on this trip to Belgium and eastern France.

This was a nice Baroque cathedral and a great change of scenery after all the Gothic cathedrals we have seen all week. Classic Baroque interior which is much more ornate than Gothic Cathedrals.

and poor from the inside. We expected more from the cathedrale. But hardly any decoration. A big body but nearly no decoration. We recomend to have a look from the outside and a glance on the inside.

Nice cathedrale, many expression in religious architecture, dedicated to Notre-Dame -de l'Annonciation, a romanesque architecture, I think, that provide opportunities for mediation and faiths, and chance to admire architecturale brillance of old constructions.

This apparently important building is gloomy and expired. Unfortunately, the City Council has no recognition for this monument as an entrance to all the other beautiful things the city has to offer.

Worth a 20 min visit. Found an English info sheet and had a look at the items of interest. Good statues. Quiet area for contemplative prayer which was busy before an evening mass. Lovely baroque items to see. Not a huge place but worth a...More

Located just a five minute walk from the main Stanislav Square and visible from the square this is a far more modest cathedral than many others in France and Germany and surrounding countries but still nice. The intrertior similiarly is not as lavish.

This much overlooked monument in Nancy can be spotted closing a diagonal perspective starting from Place Stanislas towards the south. The temple is huge, yet well proportionate, and the sober, 'minimal' and elegant architecture of the facade, still retaining many characteristics of the baroque style,...More
