Magnificent landscape views. The area has the most bizarre boulders siting in peculiar locations and situations - you must see for yourself. The boulders make up valleys and chasms. Easy to access and very few visitors make this worth a visit.

We had a couple of hours to kill before our flight and so we decided to take a round tour of Le Sidobre. We found the rocks and the lake and they were such fascinating features!

This area us truly stunning with its natural granite rock formations. You can admire them from afar, get up close or climb all over them yo your hearts content. A particular favourite with kids & teens is 'rivière des rochers', fabulous way to spend an hour or so, clambering and jumping from boulder to boulder! Free, beautiful, simply stunning!

If your idea of a holiday/break is partying in a beach resort then don't even consider le Sidobre. Visit le Sidobre to enjoy the peace of the countryside and admire the strange rock formations. For cyclists the area is heaven with quiet roads, hilly terrain and stunning countryside. There are occasional restaurants and bars dotted around, however, if you fancy... More

Don't waste precious petrol and time to visit these "rochers". Route/highway markers are very few and far between. There are many glacial formations in this region. Some are interesting to behold but none of them achieve "rock star" status. Trails are not easy to navigate, over rocks, tree roots, etc. One of the rocks "Le Rocher D' oiel" is 1/3... More

We spent 10 days in Castres and on a few occasions I cycled out of town and twice we drove out to include Le Sidobre in our itinerary and it did not disappoint. This is rural wild France with very sparce population density, great variety of rock, water, plant life and all in a wide relatively flat enjoyable setting which... More
