You have a number of options instead of using the train, for seeing the first level ?? park at the top and come down by the chateau and get the lift back up. I thought 7 euros for me and my wife was a little...More

This little tourist train seems to get a slating in the reviews here but if you want to avoid a steep climb, are tired at the end if a busy day, have kids or buggies or it's very hot then this is definitely worth it!!!

Train driver had a serious attitude problem and was very rude and unhelpful. Instead of parking in the valley and using this train I would recommend parking at the top, walking down as you get some great views and then using the lift in the...More

Park at the bottom of Rocamadour and catch train up and down to the first level. Children welcome and with a pushchair. Under 5's free so don't forget to state their ages.

We caught the train because we thought it would save us time getting to the village. However in hindsight it would have been better to get the exercise and walk to the top. Once you wait for the train to arrive it's hardly a long...More

If you are totally disabled to walk. Or if you're travelling with children. It would be nice if they use an electric car and not one with diesel exhaust!

Train looked a good idea to save walking up the hill. Expensive for a few minutes ride. The problem is if it's busy and you want to go back down it ends up train rage, with getting on both sides at the same time and...More

The roads are not to bad leading to Rocamodour the road down to the river from the north is narrow and twisty, the car park is quite large and a small walk to the small road train, this takes you back up the road and into... More

Hi, my answer is pretty similar to the one above. If you're lucky, you can park your car pretty close to the train. We arrived mid-afternoon and there was plenty of parking space. The train is just for transport and does not... More
