The facade is noticeable, and the church is easily accessible. I suspect many people pass it by as they walk from the Place du Capitole to the basilica, but it's worth going into this Gothic building for a few minutes and admire its Gothic architecture.

We were walking from Place du Capitole on the way to Basilique Saint-Sernin and saw this lovely church on the way. Make sure you stop in and have a look. Good altar and decorations, but looks like many tourists pass this on by to see the main attractions. Don't pass the door without going and and appreciating the decor and... More

This is one of those Churches that inspire faith. Something special happens when architecture and art are combined to create a unique atmosphere of awe and devotion. Participants are drawn into a unique personal experience here that is hard to put into words.

from outside it doesn't look very interesting, but inside was really cool. I have never seen such a dark (almost black) church from inside.

In the center of town there is this old and proud church, still being used. In fact the organ is used to produce concerts.

English Notre Dame church is one of the attraction in Place du Capitol area. We came here by Metro and got down at Capitol station. The name of the Church is in the name of Saint Sermin He was the first bishop of Toulouse in 3rd century and martyred by tieing him by the feet to a bull which dragged... More

Well worth a look around whilst in Toulouse. Light a candle for a departed relative or friend. Very close to main square and easy to find.

huge, and looking like a fortress from the outside, but with little worth to spend time inside. the building itself and especially its front is the best it hast to offer. stroll by along your tour through the city center, but no need to plan more time for it.

This church is the real thing - unrenovated, unrestored. Therefore it is dark, decaying and frankly a little smelly. But it takes very little time to pop your head in from Rue du Taur and experience the XIVth century for real. The paint is faded and peeling in places, but there is a wonderful fresco over the altar of St.... More

It is very emotional place. Church itself seems to be neglected a bit, on a first glance. First, it is very difficult to enter it because there are numerous homeless people sleeping with their dogs in front of cathedral doors. Once you pass them, you enter the door and surprise. There are some of them sleeping on the church floor.... More
