Hmm not sure why this is stated as a tourist must-see! It is a plain bridge, yes with history but nothing spectacular.

Nice old bridge with the garonne shining below. Good photos opportunity in the day with large buildings the other side of the river. Many young student around that aeria and small coffe shops or bistro place around. Worth a visit at night with the lights for great photos!

Well worth the walk over the bridge and you get a great view of Le Garonne. In the middle of the bridge there is a mappointing out all the sights from where you are.

In the night one can spend hours standing on the beautiful and ancient bridge and get soaked in the beauty of the reflections in the Garonne.

Near from city centre. Very nice place for jogging or just a short stroll in the morning and afternoon. During night time we can enjoy the light animation around the bridge

If you go to Toulouse, you must walk along the Garonne river. There are paths that go quite a way either upstream or downstream from the Pont Neuf. The bridge itself is beautiful, especially at night, when it's lit up, but can be admired in all weathers and under all skies.

This bridge does exactly what you want it to do: get you over the water! At the river level there are benches where you can have a seat and a bottle of wine on a nice sunny day. Good architecture!

It is called the new bridge but it is oldest bridge. When you look at the design you can appreciate the survival characteristics. Very photogenic, the view’s over Garonne are amazing.

We walked along the river and crossed higher up to observe the wonderful view across the river of toulouse and this enabled us to take photographs of the bridge all made so much more enjoyable by the sun shining

So, yes, the bridge is every bit as pretty as all the reviewers say, but what really sends it over the top is the all the interpretive signage along the river walk that explains what you see and can no longer see. Yes, this is the new bridge but, most remarkably, the abutment for the "old" early medieval bridge can... More
