Great museum with good flow

You can get a really good synopsis of D-day invasions at this museum. The lists of all the high ranking military for the Allies and Germany was really informative.

Also see the Airborne Museum, which actually is better! It's a bit of a drive away from here but worth the trip

Very informative and well laid out. Many pictures and artifacts on display. You could spend several hours easily here. Price is reasonable for what you get. May not be as big as other such museums but is equal or better as regards information and displays.

Went here with my wife whilst on a music tour. Very well laid out, well priced and plenty to look at and read. Very respectful to the memory of those who died for our freedom.

We liked this museum a good deal. It is pretty traditional but well laid out and great photos. There is a film I would have enjoyed but we missed the last showing in English. We spent about 90 minutes at this museum and would have stayed longer but we got there close to the end of the day.

An excellent mainly chronological display with a movie (some showings in English--check the web) which ideally should be seen before spending several hours with the exhibits. One frustration: the museum closes for a long lunch and we were thrown out before seeing it all even though we had arrived almost at opening time.

This was a very informative attraction that you will come away from humbled by the sacrifice of your fellow man! The 25min film explains the whole of the Normandy Day Landings. There is also a timeline explanation of what occurred during the landings and days after.

The museum is a little confusing to follow around. There could be a numbering system to help the viewer.

This museum is walking distance of the town, and it is across the street from the British cemetery. It is well-done, and we thought it afforded a great overview of the D-Day beaches the day before we drove out to tour them. It is pleasant, well-run and reasonably priced.

We enjoyed this museum very much, but not as much as the Pegasus Bridge Museum. The story was well told through artifacts and descriptions.
