Absolutely blew me away! The very detailed history told on the free of charge English audio guide made our visit so enjoyable and gained a lot of knowledge. Do visit the cinema inside the tapestry, the English version of the short video was a treat!...More

I think I had heard so much about this tapestry that I was expecting so much more. The visit to the tapestry was simply being one of many people, shuffling around a room in a circular fashion, looking at an ancient tapestry about 18" high,...More

You see the tapestry using a audio device (it is 70 meters long). Informative but it keeps you moving, sometimes a bit faster than you would like. But that way, there are no crowded spots.

On Mum's 'bucket list'. I have seen this tapestry umpteen times previously. It still has things to see, you are drawn in by the commentary on the (un)friendly sweaty to use mobile phone devices. I remembered taking apple EarPods headphones last time - but there...More

The large tapestry is helpfully navigated with your own personal audio device, included with admission. In addition to the tapestry there is a small museum that further details making the tapestry and the historic events it depicts

We visited with our two young children. They had a children's audio guide whilst we had ours. That allowed us to appreciate this wonderful work as a family. Nicely presented and an amazing story of history.

A few years ago, a friend recommended this to me....after my trip to the area. I didn't even understand what this even was, but was just blown away by the history, the amazing work, and the story told in the tapestry. Well worth the visit.

Superb audio commentary really brings the tapestry to life. Good value, especially as we got a combined ticket to another museum.

The tapestry was a very interesting and informative story on fabric. It's amazing to see how the history was captured on this continuous embroidery and how some descriptions of the history were shown. The tiniest details were displayed. Use the audio guide as I think...More

Hello, the train station is less than a 10-minutes walk from the museum and the street you will cross is a oneway traffic. Be aware that for security reasons, the museum can't accept suitcases or large bags and there's no... More
