We were directed to the website Digiteck by the Giverny Foundation to purchase tickets to Monet's House and Garden. The experience was frustrating, time consuming and expensive. The website sold us 16 tickets when in fact we wished to purchase only 4 tickets because of...More

Merci Beaucoup Dimitri of France Tourisme for the excellent Giverny Tour. We were picked up at our hotel and dropped off at the France Tourisme office where we met Dimitri who was our driver and tour guide for the trip to Giverny. Dimitri provided historical...More

I really enjoyed seeing the gardens where Monet painted so many of the paintings I have seen over the years. It was also interesting seeing his house, even if it made me feel like a bit of a stalker, for some reason.

Visited in early June and the gardens were a picture, as was the lake with its lilies. Very atmospheric, and worth seeing. House is interesting, and the interiors were also designed by Monet. Well worth a visit, but best to go early in the day...More

We spent roughly 4 hours there mostly sitting in or walking around the gardens. While we found Monet's use of color in the house quite interesting it was the gardens that made the greatest impact on us. After seeing them you can fully understand where...More

On a sunny day in June we found as many people as flowers at the famed gardens. Still, the lily ponds make it worth the visit. (The house was too crowded to brave the second floor.) Be sure to purchase your tickets online in advance...More

We got here after the house and gardens were closed, so we were peeking over walls and fences, but it is beautiful. I'm sure if I lived there I would be a master artist as well!

I would say you should allow one hour and a half for the gardens, Lilly pond and house. Optional is a walk through the village to the church and Monet's grave
