We came across this by accident whilst on a walk up in the hills above Honfleur. It is a chaming chapel, having been built by locals and sailors, with model boats hung from the rafters.

Well worth the climb for the view of the sein, the fisherman's church with bells outside, and the special open air service area for Pentecost celebrations. Take the steep hill up from the Homme du Bois side of the town then walk back via the viewing point looking over the town and the Pont du Normandy.

Notre Dame de Grace is on the top of a hill above Honfleur. It you didn't know it was there, you would not find it without a guide. Worth the trip.

No fleur is one of the most French and beautiful places in France. It was not destroyed at WWII and is very busy on the weekends...so try to visit during the week but stay over Saturday to see the life of the place.

Steep hike up, but worth it. Set in a picturesque park with a lovely set of bells. Small and simple but lovely inside. Focus on ships and boating.

Nice to stop by on the pretty walk/hike from town on up and about. The view of the harbor nearby is nice. Pretty trees surrounding.

Take a walk up from the town to Notre Dame de Grace. It is quite a long climb but absolutely worth the effort. (You can drive there as well should you wish) We timed our walk to arrive just before 12 noon to experience the amazing bells. We loitered for almost an hour enjoying the chimes every 15 minutes. The... More

We drove out of Honfleur up a road to this Chapelle builit in the 1600's. It was awesome. Lots of stuff hanging on the walls which told a story of the place. Outside there were a structure of bells on a rack that automatically play every 15 minutes. We waited and it was worth it.. quite special... and loud.. then... More

We arrived just before 12 noon to hear and see the bells chime. We have never seen anything like this before, well worth the visit.

I like to go into old churches wherever I am- but this one was the cutest, most comfortable I have ever been in. The inside was decorated with sailboats all over, along with thank you plaques for Mary answering their prayers. There were also great examples of women in the stained glass- something you don't often see. I wish I... More
