Very quirky museum. In fact I think having been round the museum I was left feeling that Satie was a pretty quirky person. Enjoyable though. There were lots of children there but I’m not sure what they would have got out of it.

A unique experience but like previous entrants I had synchronisation issues with my audioguide. I did however get the giste of his avant gardeness. Enjoyed cycling on the merry go round- sitting on the rugby ball type seats- although it wasn't immediately apparent that was...More

The house was a bit of a revelation about the life of Erik Satie, but I felt only focused on certain elements of his life. It is quite good but the machines to hear the tour are a bit quirky themselves and do not always...More

Satie's works in all his art forms are quirky which contributes a lot to his appeal. I felt the curators perhaps tried a bit too hard to put this in block letters, in bold and underline things. The layout and a lot of the content...More

I must admit that I did not have a broad knowledge of Satie's music and assumed that the museum would expand my knowledge and understanding of the artist. Whilst the museum was quirky, fun and amusing, it was also not that informative. The GPS earphones...More

Even if you have never heard of Eric Satie or his music this museum will enchant you with the clever interpretations of the composer and the sounds of his music. You can't help smiling as you go round. In old buildings that have been brilliantly...More

I was passing by and my 7 year old son urgently needed to use the toilet. The lady at the reception gladly let us use the toilet. Thank you!

While I am familiar with some of his music (even beyond the Blood, Sweat, and Tears selection!) I did not know that Satie was from Honfleur. Since we were here on a rainy, dreary day we were looking for some indoor activity. This turned out...More

Rather than a traditional museum containing artifacts from the composer's life, each room tried to explain a particular period in his musical maturation. We received an English language audio guide on entry, Between rooms, it played selections from Satie's works. If you stood in the...More

Fun art, fun things to do. Take the family especially the teenagers. You will all enjoy. My wife and I has a laugh or smile in every room.
