Rocky beach with colourful beach huts by day, vast stretch of smooth sand by dusk, with shallow pools and streams finding their ways back to the ocean. Perfect evening stroll.

I just spent sometime in the sun walking along the Plage. There are some reatausrants and stalls. A lot of bathing houses, but I assume this is all private property. Wanna go in the sea - then you have to look for the tiding. With...More

The very long beach has pebble stones, not sand. There are 100's of beach huts and 14 restaurants. There's also France's largest skatepark.

Not your normal type of beach, being made up on small rocky stones . This area was fairly busy and a good place to have a walk in a very pleasant surroundings. Children's park close by. A different experience to normal beaches.

Fabulous place to relax on a bench with a bière and watch the world go by. Great sunset too! Another picturesque coastline to visit is Étretat. Take the bus from the SNCF Gare.

This promenade is wonderful for a stroll, walking as far as you like before turning back as it is quite long. I reckon it would take you a couple of hours to stroll up to the end. There are lots of cafes and restaurants along...More
