My sister and I walked a lot around the city and enjoyed the gardens. They are peaceful to sit and rest with lots of sculptures to admire. The gardens are very well kept and are a credit to the city. We visited on the week days so there weren't as many people around as I presume there would be on... More

This public garden has been totally redone. There is a nice collection of tropical plants in the green houses and a nice view point to look down on the city, the beach and the harbor.

Great walk up from town, fantastic collection of plants - well worth a visit! Bring your own food and drinks, no cafe here!

The Fort has been renovated and setup as a gardens on the top of the city. You can learn about the history of the place and imagine how it was build or maintained during the past century. I did enjoy the walk around the place, nice for a family afternoon. You can visit glasshouses find a variety of flowers and... More

Walked here, a rather challenging uphill walk, but most enjoyable. The gardens are large, with lots to look at, some quiet spots to sit and larger grounds to walk around if wanted. Beautiful, would definitely come again if in the area.

We visits the gardens whilst our cruise ship Ventura was in port. It is quite an uphill walk. There is a nice tea and gift shop where you can sit inside or out and enjoy the gardens. They serve lovely patisseries. Some lovely plants to look at and you can purchase when the greenhouse is open. It is a nice... More

This garden is very near the downtown of Le Havre. The travelers could go there by walking. In this garden, you can see many kinds of flowers around the world. Even though you go there in winter you can still find some plants from warmer area, because of the green house built inside. At the middle of the garden, there... More

this place is nice but depending on the good ratings of tripadvisor we expected more. I think this can be seen in every botanic garden

We visited in July. It took us 25 minutes of brisk walking from the Hotel de Ville to the gardens, inside the old fort of Saint-Adresse. Unfortunately the Funiculaire from the lower to the upper town was closed for its Summer refurbishment (Monday July 20th to Sunday August 23rd 2015) so we had to climb up what seemed like hundreds...
