While in Rouen, try to see this eye-catching museum. It's a mind-boggling collection of ironwork in many forms. The most impressive & central display includes many interesting and historic wrought-iron signs, elaborate grilles, and even a staircase to nowhere. But there are also tools, jewelry,...More

Dived in out of the rain but would recommend going to whatever the weather if in Rouen. A rather eclectic mix of instruments of all types over two floors and totally amazing. Free to visit.

Wasn't sure what to expect but this was great! Museum housed in old beautiful church. There are all sorts of iron works, from staircase, to signs, keys, intricate locks, and medical equipment. Well worth your time. Older children would be interested too!

This museum has been founded in the beginning of the 20th century and is a very interesting museum just behind the Musée des Beaux Arts. You will discover old ironwork, from medical instruments to keys, signs and doors and many, many other interesting things.

A very interesting ironwork museum. Well worth a visit. What you can do with fire and iron (a lot). Children love it because of the various contraptions (locks which trap or shoot at unwary robbers among other curiosities). A good rainy day activity.
