Dating to the period of William the Conqueror, this town clock is a beautiful gold face with only one hand. Ancient clock masters did not know how to have two mechanisms at the same time for the hour and minutes and the people did not...More

This is another street near the river. Don't miss the opportunity to check out people-watching, shopping, and photo ops.

This street with the many restored historic houses has great character and everything to cater to the many visitors taste, cafés, ice cream parlours, pastry shops, you name it, it's there.

Beautiful medieval, partially restored and functioning one-handed clock, massive in size, placed in a wall above the archway which saw Joan of Arc pass beneath it. Lovely colors in the huge clock, and gold everywhere. Roman numerals tell the hour with the hour hand, but...More

Very interesting and carefully laid out to make the climb to the top not seem so daunting. Once there the views are excellent.

Worth going down the busy shopping street to have a look. Look underneath the arch for a high relief sculpture.

We went to visit the large clock, just before we travelled home, and it was well worth the visit, and only 7 euros per person, including the audio .

Lovely place, very quaint with a lovely atmosphere. Plenty of eateries and drinking places. Expensive in this area though. Nice time of year to visit, weather is beautiful.

A very pleasant amble to the cathedral lined by historic buildings housing a wide variety of shops and cafes.

I know this place thanks to an Instagramer. Most of his photos are only about this place which makes me really curious. Actually, we could go to the top of this, but it costs more than 5euro (as I remember). Great place to take photos.
