If you are in Rouen its worth finding the clock, its not far from the Cathedral, quite a size makes you feel so small, worth a photograph too.

You must go down this one street in Rouen if none other, as it is beautiful. Lots of old buildings, some great shops (like Auzou chocolate and cake) and the view coming up to the cathedral is priceless.

Topped at the apex by a grand clock. Part of the essential Rouen experience. Great views at night - when it is lit.

Great area to browse in. Wonderful old buildings leaning on each other for support. The clock is beautiful. Put this on your list for sure.

At some point you will come across this street as you wander the Old Town. It's named after the large clock tower which you will see regardless of which direction you are walking on the street (as long as you haven't passed it. The clock is good to look at; I didn't go into the tower and I don't think... More

This clock is lovely and the streets around it are the old Rouen. Take your time to look up. Some buildings in the area have bullet and shell hole damage from the 2 world war very poignant.

Rue du Gros Horloge is a great mix of traditional old wooden buildings and modern shops. The clock straddling the street is beautiful and glows brightly in the sunshine as we stroll slowly window shopping.
