The ceiling is supposedly higher than Notre Dame Paris, it is very imposing and beautifully illuminated at night.

This is a spectacular feast for the eyes. Inside of the cathedral is lovely. It is not as overdone and many cathedrals are and the interior is light and it makes it easy to see every detail. Many old cathedrals are dark inside but this...More

We made time to see this cathedral when visiting Nantes. It was worth every minute. We walked there after seeing the Botanical Gardens, the Chateau due de Bretagne and St Clement. The outside is very well maintained, as is the inside, which is, as many...More

Beautiful arhitectural pearl of Nantes. Especially worth visiting inside. Go to see a tomb on your right.

Some lovely stained glass windows, quite a simple cathedral but obviously well used by local staff. Carving on outside of building very interesting.

The Cathedrale is well worth visiting and, because it was rebuilt twice in the mid-late 20th century, it is in much better built condition than many French cathedrals. Of special visual note is the splendid stained glass windows and the high quality of stone carving.
