Lovely boulevard on which to stroll

The Cours Mirabeau is lovely with it's multiple fountains and cafes for people watching, but is brought to life with a proper guide to tell you also of its rich history.

I'm glad we decided on Aix as our main port destination during our recent cruise stop in Toulon/La Seyne. While I've been here many years back, I never realized just how special a place this really is. The ambiance, the people, the variety of places to discover right along the boulevard were enough to keep us entertained and engaged for... More

The main street for shops, restaurants, department store and if you are lucky the market will be there. Great people watching, several ATM's, famous Cafe of the 2 Garcons and just a pleasant place to stroll

Pleasantly enjoyable walk down the main promenade of a very beautiful city. Many shops and Cafe's along the way. Great place to people watch and enjoy a glass of wine.

My wife and I recently spent a week in Aix and managed to spend time on Cours Mirabeau every day , ranging from an hour to a few hours. It's a leafy engaging boulevard that basically connects the fabulous Rotonde Fountain at one end to the Fontaine Du Roi Rene at the other end. You can walk east and chose... More

This is similar to Paris' Champs d'Elysee. A broad and pretty boulevard with commerce on both sides. This becomes very alive on market day when vendors line up on one side. Suggest some bargaining will get you better prices.

This pedestrianised main street has many shops and restaurants, plus the fountains which give Aix its unique character.

Its a nice street with nice shops and pretty views. Plenty of somewhat overpriced cafes. Nothing really special about it.
