the facade at the front is quite facinating with interesting carvings and sculptures of the trip to hell. Inside is nice as well although not a lot to see

Facade is very cool w columns and carvings showing the last judgement with those on the left going to heaven, those on the right to hell!. Was closed today but was told relics of St Steven inside and 3 sarcophagi used as altars.

An interesting church built in Romanesque style. Here, for the first time, I saw carpets hanging on the walls instead of icons.

Part of the UNESCO World Heritage listed structures in Arles. The interior is not that enchanting. But the portal is absolutely fabulous taking into consideration that the sculptures date from the 12th (!) century.

The facade is its selling point, inside its a little basic. my only criticism is that if you wanted to see the holy relics you had to pay to turn the lights on!

This church is in the Place de republic and is well worth a visit. It is not highly decorated but has a presence when you go inside. One of the few churches not desecrated during the French Revolution.
