All literature, signs, advertising and website stated that they were open on a Monday. Apparently not. When I asked one of the employees showing him all of this I was told I was English and wouldn't understand! I used to live in France and the...More

Not a very large museum that unites contemporary and classical art. I think it was created by the Knights of Maltа.

This was a lovely building and I was very interested to find out about the connection with the Knights of Malta. I went on my pass which meant that I didn't pay any extra for this museum. However, I wouldn't have paid any extra for...More

My husband and I don't often take in museums but we purchased a 4 stop city pass that included a museum. This museum was interesting as they had some Picasso drawings that we enjoyed.

I went as part of my day pass. It is a lovely building but the art failed to impress. Just not to my taste although others may disagree. There was a photographic exhibition which was quite good

We visited this museum probably because it was included on the "Pass Liberte". Well worth purchasing you get 2 museums (one being Reattu) and historic sites 4 sites for 12 Euros. Pays for itself in no time. An interesting museum something for everyone, perhaps?

This is the art museum of Arles. Across a nice old building which once was a centre for the Knights of the Cross of Malta there is a fine collection of art and a mix of both classical and modern works presented together.

This museum is an interesting mixture of an older and more modern collection. Some is very special and interesting - other parts not so. The building itself is quite special - with superb Rhone views. Our visit was slightly marred by a noisy school party....More

Part of the 11 Euro ticket you can purchase at the tourism office, otherwise it is an 8 Euro entry price. They have a few paintings from Picasso and the painter the museum is named after. There are also a few modern works of art...More
