Incredibly hard to find! You actually access this place by going into the town hall. It is a vast underground area with little to see other than the fact it exists. As part of the day pass, it is worth going to but I wouldn't...More

Glad the flashlight in my phone was working. just arches that support the forum above. cost (€3.50), is not worth wandering around in the dark.

Entrance through Town Hall. The underground forum is part of the UNESCO listed structures. It's Roman and it has kept one of its original purposes: a low temperature for the storage of goods. A cool walk in hot Arles.

The scale of the cryptoportiques situated under the Hotel de Ville will blow your mind. Worth a visit as you step back in time to Roman Arles

These underground walkways are from Roman times. You get to them by stairways under the town hall. Dark, gloomy and damp-and very atmospheric.

A subterranean view beneath ancient buildings. Something you don't see every day. I loved this space because it is so unusual. Walking through the dark and somewhat damp crypt, imagining the Roman builders and engineers creating this space so long ago is amazing. No relics...More

If you want to go inside obtain at least the 'Liberty' city pass which allows you 4 entrances plus 2 museums from the TI in town. We spent a little more-15€ and got a pass good for everything (except Foundation Van Gogh which is not...More
