An impressive building dominating Place de l'Horloge. During the Avignon Festival weeks this is the location for a succession of street performances.

Still housing some of the city government (there is an additional building behind it with more housed there) you need to clear security. The terrific architecture from the outside is present within as well as some rotating exhibitions. All Free.

A beautiful building, as most French hotels des villes are, situated in the picturesque Place de l'Horloge. An impressive three storey façade, replete with pillars.

The building has a beautiful facade. It's not open for visitation (it's the city hall), but it's located in a very nice square (Place de l'Horloge) that deserves a visit.

The Avignon Town Hall has an imposing exterior, as to many Mairies in France. Here they make an effort to have regular interesting exhibitions in the foyer - the Creche Provencale at Christmas, for example. Free.

The Hotel de Ville is located on a wonderful plaza, Place de L'Horloge. The facade is striking and elaborate. You can sit in several restaurants and admire the building and many others nearby. Terrific shopping nearby.
