Visits to this historic factory thread their way through the perfumer’s laboratory, with its perfume organ, the distillery, the maceration and filtering studios, the enfleurage rooms, and the artisanal packaging and soapmaking workshops. The museum's collection features bottles and perfume memorabilia from ancient times and all the way up to the present day. Clay perfume flasks, khol vases, scent holders, salve jars, pomanders, bergamotes, and travel kits trace 3,000 years of history.

Perfume lovers should not miss the opportunity to visit this wonderful factory in a very beautiful village, Grasse, France. Learn how perfumes are made via the tour in Perfume Fragonard, where they provide, free of charge, an English speaking guide to see how the chemist works and how they historically extracting the perfumes from different type of flowers. At end... More

Disappointing. Mundane, dull and uninteresting... museum is free, but not too much going on. The shop where you can purchase perfumes, soaps etc is ok. Nothing to write home about

I went to the Fragonard Perfume factory several years ago and bought my daughter her first real perfume. She loved the scent so much, that when we went on a trip together, it was a must to stop here again. They give you a tour of the factory and then you can go downstairs to the gift shop. You can... This tour alone is worth going to Grasse for. The displays and information are organized quite intelligently. I went with the German side of my family and for a tour guide we had a kind lady of Mexican origin speaking flawless German who made a genuine effort to help our youngsters understand the science and art of perfume. It was... More

I attended the tour which started at 2pm. It lasted for one hour and ended at the perfume shop. The lady spoke very good English and gave us a very insightful introduction on perfume making.

Great place to go, especially on a rainy day when you need to buy a present for a dear one or ran out of perfume yourself.

This was a very pleasant experience and very informative. We did not join a large tour, there were only three plus the guide in our party and the whole of the experience was in English. At the end you really appreciated the work that goes into producing these natural products and how labour intensive it is Easy interaction with the... More

We visited the museum but not the guided tour of the factory. I loved the well-curated museum, especially the intricate and beautiful collection of the evolution of cases to bottles, and in different cultural regions of the world. Highly recommended if you have 30min.
