In a well kept garden you will find this pretty and hopefully soon restored millionaires villa turned into local art museum. The house itself is worth a visit and the small but ambitious exhibitions are nice. A good one and a half hour type of visit, combine it with looking at the Russian chapel nearby by the same architect, Tersling,... More

Usually something interesting on dIsplay here and the gardens are a delight. Between Menton and Carnoles so not where many tourists walk, bot only 100m from the promenade and worth the detour.

One of the few parks in Menton which is free to attend. Lots of shadow and not overcrowded by people. Only a few minutes walk from Promenade du Soleil. The best place to have a short rest after midday heat on the beach. Perfect for families with kids.

The art wasn't up to much but the building in which it was displayed is a lovely old mansion with beautiful decoration. It is situated in a park area that is worth exploring.

This year the old Grimaldi "summer palace" in Menton had a small but interesting exhibition of their own art collection of paintings and sculptures. At the same time you can also stroll around in the Citrus "agrume garden" sorrounding the Museum.

The gardens are interesting at the right time of year with all the different orange trees. The art in the galleries is very varied, from treasures to local amateur contest winners and losers as well! Good to get out of the heat of the sun in season into what is an interesting building.

If you enjoy wandering freely around a grand old building and its gardens then this former palace makes for a pleasant afternoon. With the winter sun shining the gardens were most enjoyable, offering many botanic examples including numerous mature citrus trees in full fruit. There are plenty of benches for those wanting to sit and contemplate the sculptures, or nibble... More

We wanted to visit the museum in the hope the building had been restored to its former glory. Not so much on the ground floor but the 2nd floor is quite interesting. The best part is the large garden with a citrus grove, flowers, insect hotel, and many statues. Lots of benches for resting and enjoying the view or picking... More

Carnoles Palace Art Museum is an art exhibition located in a beautiful old building with a large surrounding garden full of interesting sculptures. While the place seems to be needing some restoration, it is probably the best art museum of the Menton area and well worth your time if you love art.

the museum is manageable (my favourite sort - vs. overwhelming) and worth a visit. but for me the main appeal here is the citrus garden, with fun sculptures in between the various trees and plants. especially when you live in a cooler climate, it's always a treat to experience sub-tropical vegetation - and i did pick up some very large...
