Eglise Notre Dame de Vie is a beautiful church at 1 rue de l'Eglise in the Mougins old village. However it is not the one shown in the photographs here. The one shown in the photographs is the Chapelle de Notre Dame de Vie, Mougins,...More

Another nice place to visit, this provencial little church, Notre Dame de Vie; a romantic place and arounds, near Picasso's residence ; the bell allows to know the time all day; ideal for a nice walk.

Picasso spent so many of his last years here. Its sort of become a pilgrimage to him and his art. I found it beautiful. Really peaceful and tranquil. Didn't spend ing here as not much to do except walk around and enjoy the view. Traditional...More

Just to the south of Mougins is Notre-Dame-de-Vie, which is where Picasso chose to spend the last twelve years of his life. His house is now in private hands and closed to the public, but one can still visit the 13th century bell tower that...More

I think it's a lovely church in a town that's so picturesque Lots of great photo opportunities. We got to see a wedding party arrive which was super. Definitely worth a visit

There was a wedding at the old church and it looked so traditionally French. Yet the Church is so small.

Very difficult to find. Very little publicity made around this little chapel dating from the 17th century, painted by Churchill, visited by Picasso who lived nearby for 12 years. Unfortunately it is not open to the public.
