Founded in 1986 by photographer Andre' Villers, the museum has a rich collection of pictures mainly of Picasso in his daily working life taken by master photographers Andre' Villers himself, Robert Doisneau and David Douglas Duncan. Also some few interesting portraits of french intellectuals and artists such as Le Corbusier, Dali, Miro and Leger. Small and a bit unimpressive collection... More

It was unexpected and we were invited by a Gentleman who saw my Canon 1D .. and figured out our passion for photo! - go visit the museum he said. Well, we saw the history of Kodak argentic era fading away as numeric took place.. great testimony . Then there was a collection of photos in black and white of... More

I am so glad that I visited this museum. I was drawn to it by a guide book and discovered the quaint artist village of Mougins. Can't complain about the free entry. The primary draw is the permanent collection of photographs of Picasso by Andre Villers. For me the most touching were the ones with Picasso and his young children... More

It may be small and the collection simple but I have to say there is something magical about seeing the photographs of the lovely candidness of Picasso by Andre Villers. It's free admission...linger and really transport yourself into these personal black & whites. You've nothing to loose by visiting this lovely little museum that appeals to all ages. There were... Free entry to this quaint and compact museum. Admire the cube of melded old cameras in the entrance-way, and you will probably recognise some of your early camera models. Set over 3 levels, accessed by a steep spiral staircase, the displays include large sections on Pablo Picasso who lived in Mougins. There are lovely views of the old village of... More

This museum has lots of photos of Picasso in a stairwell. We really didn't see anything to pique our interest.

This small museum is devoted almost entirely to one photographers collection of photos he took of Picasso. So would be of interest to anyone who is a fan of Picasso.

A great collection of arresting photos of Pablo Picasso who spent his final years in Mougins and died here.

This little museum has an interesting collection of photos not usually seen of Picasso. These photos are displayed all the way up the stairs to the third floor. The exhibition we saw was by two photographers. Maia Flore and Guillaume Martial. Both very different and worth seeing
