There are many small shops as well as major shopping centers along this Avenue. The tram runs down the avenue and the main train station is situated not far away and convenient to most hotels. There are also restaurants and coffee shops on the avenue.

The Nice Patrimione organise walking tours from Massena at the bottom of Ave Jean Medicin, past Notre Dame, finishing at the station. You could walk this in 15-20 minutes but the tour typically takes 2-3 hours as it is fascinating looking at the varied architecture...More

Jean Medecin really does cater for all! High end shops are just around the corner, and the likes of Zara, HM, Mango etc are all there. Really great for shopping, especially combined with Nice Etoile shopping centre.

It is the shopping central of Nice with a variety of shops, cafe and restaurants. A lot of people are walking up and down the street and you should be careful of the tram which is passing from this street.

There is usually a 'Casino' nearby in Nice - small grocery stores dotted around. Otherwise, near the front, there are kiosks or small tourist shops that generally have those things available. Enjoy!
