An absolutely beautiful setting with gardens that have not been altered since they were established in the 1500s. The views over Nice as just as spectacular. We didn't visit inside the Monastery but we understand there is a small museum there as well.
Viewed this monastery by walking via the nearby roman ruins and interesting olive grove gardens. A must see in Nice.

It is a beautiful place. Old. It is tranquil. I loved to spend som time admiring the fresques. It is....ok I don't have words. Please don't miss it if you are in the neighborhood. And don't forget to visit the gardens they are outstanding
Not long is needed in the church itself. The paintings on the walls appear to be in the process of renovation. Where they have been taken down, copies are in place. Would have appreciated some more information about them. Not much natural light in the...More
