We went there not expecting anything outstanding but found it to be wonderful. Excellent ,well priced lunch in the courtyard and a most enjoyable viewing experience with headphone provided. Just the right size of gallery , not overwhelming. I highly recommend it.

Nice way to spend an hour. Easy walk up from centre. I loved his early work and the few examples of stained glass.

His paintings were well-explained for example the ubiquitous violinist referring to his Jewish background. The hall with the beautiful stained glass windows was being used by musicians rehearsing classical music - we were lucky to be there just when they were. It was an interesting...More

A wonderful experience to see hoe Chagall first sketched his biblical scenes and then execute them on a massive scale. Worth the trip.

Bit of a hike to find the museum, but well worth it. A lot of the material is based around religious themes, not normally to my taste, but I really liked the museum. Well laid out, not too busy, and just enough quality material to...More

No. The cafe at the Chagall museum is very pleasant. You can walk from one to the other but if you see my review of the Matisse museum you won't waste your time. Chagall is between 1 1/2 and 2 hours.
