I have not visited this place as it is closed for renovations from September 2015 until some time in 2016. I believe it is fantastic however, and can only imagine that newly renovated it will be even more impressive. Just wanted to let the traveling...More

Musee Mac Chagall is absolutely amazing - it was specifically constructed to provide a showcase for the extraordinary Biblical Scenes - the paintings have to be seen to be believed - extraordinary.

So glad I checked trip advisor before going. The museum is closed until 2016 for renovation. No other details available. Cafe and shop open I believe.

This space is awesome filled with beautiful Chagall works of art in a building he designed. I have seen Chagall's in other museums but there was something magical about seeing his work in this space.

I loved this museum. It's easy to find and the discount for students is great- make sure you have your student ID with you. I must say that the neigbourhood I passed through is a bit shady, so if you don't feel confortable getting asked...More

Quite good selection of Chagall's works! We also enjoyed an excellent documentary shown about his life (in English) which included commentary by the man himself. Would highly recommend a visit!

The museum focuses on the biblical-themed works of Chagall (he donated the whole collection to the city at some point). Make sure to grab a free audio-guide at the entrance, which you can listen through in about an hour. The museum is not very large,...More

We've visited twice in the last few years. The layout is well done and the museum has a variety of his works. Along with his paintings, there is a mural, some stained-glass works, and there were fabric/fibers displays the last time we were there. Parking...More

This museum is small but has absolutely beautiful pieces. The colors are exquisite. There are benches for sitting while contemplating. Plan to spend about an hour -- we had far less time and wished we had scheduled differently.

No. The cafe at the Chagall museum is very pleasant. You can walk from one to the other but if you see my review of the Matisse museum you won't waste your time. Chagall is between 1 1/2 and 2 hours.
