This historic part of Nice feels like a medieval village with narrow streets curving between old buildings with red-tile roofs, small restaurants and open-markets.

A visit to the famous flower market in the Old Town first thing in the morning is recommended. Try some Socca (a cross between a pancake and a potato cake) and a wander through the stalls to experience the true flavour of Nice.

What great fun, to stroll up and down the streets of Old Town Nice. We could spend hours going from shop to shop and watching the people.

Lots of cafes, bars and shops. Lovely to wander along and soak up the sun and atmosphere. Not too big so you can't get lost. We walked over to the port, lots of expensive boats to look at.
