Nice is known for this flower market and for food reason. Located in the Old Town, it is perfect. The surrounding beautiful buildings create an out of a story book ambience. The market is open daily except Mondays and it closes around lunch time. There...More

A nice little market, not very big, but has some cool stuff. In the morning you can buy fruits and vegetables and spices etc. In the evening other vendors take over and sell handicraft items and jewellery. We quite enjoyed strolling up and down the...More

It is a nice walk around the stalls to see local produce, some cheeses and spices, surrounded by restaurants overlooking the market. The market itself is open and clean, but i wouldn't necessarily say ' a must', but surely, a good stroll through it.

Locals seem to love personal contact; they still do their shopping here, as their families did years ago, though the prices are definitely higher than in the big supermarkets, as for the quality – I am not so sure… Some of the produce is indeed...More

Had a great 45 minutes walking up and down the market trying different foods, examining gorgeous fruits and vegetables and flower arrangements. You get glimpses of the Mediterranean through the buildings and see the amazing buildings around you!

Very colourful shopping market during the day selling a wide variety of produce. Lovely to walk around and soak up the atmosphere. At night turns into a combination of shopping, dining and bars. Has a very lively atmosphere and great if you enjoy people watching.

Yes, mainly house plants and flowers. Well worth an hour strolling and perhaps coffee and a pastry.
