Lots of activity here including a flea market. Great place to catch the tram or bus. Fun people watching.

Place Garibaldi is another largely pedestrianised area that one has to share with the trams. It is situated at the tram stop number 13 which you will need if you wish to visit the Port du Nice, or catch the bus number 100 from the...More

Place Garibaldi is easy to get to on the tram line. There are quite a few restaurants, bars and coffee shops to try near the square. Also if you're keen to explore, the Old Town is a shot'left from the square.

Beautiful painted buildings surround a nice space edged with cafes. Try and spot the painted on windows on the yellow buildings.

Great vast plaza fronted by colorful buildings, boasting a fountain and connecting the new city with the old city and the beach. There's great shopping and eating off this square.

The Place was very busy with children enjoying the fountains and the marvellous layout and features. Delightful stroll and see the people relaxed and enjoying their city . Well done for designing such a wonderful space

The place was dirty, there was a lot of construction going on in all direction, height of the season but not that much for tourists to do.

Much less busy than some of the city centre squares, save for the traffic navigating it. Very large, with statues in the centre. Shops, cafes, restaurants around the edge and some benches where you can sit in the shade and people watch. Right next to...More
