Distinctive, original and authentic, the Nicoise cuisine is a mirror of the region: a fascinating combination of tastes and cultures, shaped by the sunlight and defined by the beauty of its simplicity.

I paid for the Wine Tour and received a confirmation email, but without a location. I emailed the company twice to confirm and also sent a text message but the French Way never responded. To get a refund, I had to work through my credit card company when I returned. What a waste! It's not the expense but rather the... More

There's probably not enough space in this review box to describe how wonderful this tour is. Our guide Marion was thoroughly charming and incredibly knowledgeable about local history, customs, and, of course, food. We visited the open air market to scoop up all types of local delicacies, each with its own amazing history. Then it was on to shops in... More

This was a fantastic morning waking around marketplace in the old town Nice. Our guide Marion was very knowledgeable and very nice. We started with choosing fruits and vegetables from different stands at the market, learned how to order coffee at a "boulangerie", learned about traditional snacks of the place and ended up by eating all that we have gotten... For the short time in Nice, this is a very nice way to get a peek in Nice local culture. Maria is really a awesome tour guide who brings the tour really alive. The tour starts from light small bites to olive oil tasting as a highlight in the end. The demonstration from the lady in the olive oil shop... More

On our first morning in Nice, last Thursday, we enjoyed the most amazing tour. Our guide Dorothy was absolutely wonderful--knowledgeable, delightful, and thoughtful! She gave us a thorough orientation to the city as well as a brilliant introduction to the many foods of Nice. By the end of the morning tour, our small group had delighted in both the food... More

I really recommend this food tour - it was a highlight of our trip to Nice. Marion is very kind and accommodating. The tour was a fascinating way of discovering the history of Nice through its food. It was based in the old town, and we were taken to artistan shops such as a sweet shop existing from 1820, and... More

Joined this food tour last minute and I am so extremely happy I did. We got to try out tons of different delicacies from Nice and the French Riviera in general. All of it was good, the sweet and the savory. There's no way I would have been able to taste the wide variety of local foods had I tried... More

First of all, Marion is the absolute best guide ever! She knows the history on Nice, knows the best chefs, and gives interesting and detailed explanations of all the food your will taste. Secondly, who knew Nice had such a rich food history? From candied fruits to dried flowers? Get ready for a mouthwatering experience. And there's the wine.... Best... More

Had a beautiful morning strolling through the Old town of Nice with Dorothy our guide. She had a wealth of knowledge in food culture and the history of nice. Tasted items I would normally just walk by without a glance and very impressed by the treats chosen. Highly recommend for any tourist!!
