It's a gallery set in a wooden area. The gallery itself has interesting architecture. There is a great collection of modern art. It was the opening of Pascal Pinchard's exhibition that day. Amazing sculpture garden conceived across many levels. Beautifully kept.

We had a very quick visit as part of a trip to St Paul de Vence. The gallery is located in lovely woodland with nice views from the gardens. There is parking right next to the gallery. The ticket price is quite high and it is a bit strange to ask for an additional fee to take photos. We had... More

This place has seen better days. The structure is not aging gracefully. I'm sure it was extraordinarily cool when it was built, but it is showing signs of wear with fewer signs of upkeep. This is a shame because there is awesome potential. The Miro Maze outside in the gardens is fantastic. The Giacometti courtyard is awesome. The limited amount... More

Since the departure of J.L Prat the amazingly beautiful architecture of the fondation Maeght has hosted mediocre exhibition. I will not drop any name but obviously there is a management problem at the Gallery. I keep on going back nevertheless as the site is so beautiful and the purity of the structure and landscape is a magnet for any visitor... More

Unhelpfully the web site for this museum indicates that it has a café, but when we visited it on 11th January it was closed with no indication of when it might open. So don't (currently) expect to have lunch here! It's a long way back down and then back UP into St. Paul de Vence for any refreshments! For your... More

Beautiful Grounds and Building that have been marvelously maintained. Outdoor sculpture is the highlight. Very few art works on display indoors. Considering the Maeght history this is highly disappointing. A Christo exhibition took over a large portion of the museum. It was both repetitive and boring. Perhaps we were there at the wrong time but do not visit with high... More

You will be astonished about this museum. First to get there is already amazing. In the middle of a beautiful garden you will find the museum. They have a beautiful collection of Miro but also of different artists. The collection changes often. You are allowed to make your own pictures, so you can take them home and will enjoy the... More

This is one of my favourite art museums. They have a great collection of Miro and Giacometti. And during this visit was a special exhibition of Christo and Jeanne-Claude. Located peacefully in the low mountains at Saint-Paul. Wonderful place for art lovers

We had high expectation of the Foundation Maeght but were disappointed with our experience. It was costly to ente rand there was limited exhibitions on the day we visited meaning that there was little to see. We were asked if we were going to take any photos and if so,there was a surplus charge of 5 euros. There was one... More

Lovely history behind this magnificent facility and the collection. Pay the few dollars and take your own pictures to remember the art.
