It is nice to see but don't expect something big. It's nice to see though. You will not need more than 30 minutes to walk around.

This is a very old part of Marseille with some great little restaurant tucked away. It is a great place to go for dinner.

Ran here from on my journey from Marseille to the Calanques. There are lots if shops and it's on the main bus route. There are steps going down to the rocks and sea. It's worth visiting here just for the view. Breathtaking.

This was once a small fishing port to the SE of Marseille and would have been very picturesque. Unfortunately it has now become a modern resort loaded with small leisure boats and bathing in the harbour making it very crowded. There are 2 fairly good...More

This spot is so beautiful that I cannot believe I missed it on my previous adventures. My favorite discovery was swimming out to end of the rocks and looking back at the Valley. Just wow. An incredible sunset spot too.

The place has a charming atmosphere of the improbable, a charming fishing village tucked away within a large city.

This is an amazing part of the city, where not so many people are heading to. Access to the see, you can sit down for a coffee break... place to visit..!

Pretty little fishing village, with so steps to get down to the harbour. Disappointed that there wasn't anywhere we could just sit and have a drink of coffee or cold beer. The was a restaurant but you had to eat the too.

While visiting marseille there are many small places like le vallon that you can visit if you have plenty of time but not in short trips. It is old vintage but you wont be missing a lot if you skip it.

Hotel Peron is ca.5-6 minutes walking, with beautiful views to the see. Haven't stayed there but have seen as we were walking back from the Vallon des Auffes. It looked nice from outside! There is a very good bus connection... More
