Underwelming on the outside, but amazing on the inside. We are not religious, but like to visit churches when we are on holiday because of the often great architecture and art. The St. Martin church exceeded all our expectations. Every single part is decorated and painted and there is so much beautiful artwork that our jaws dropped to the floor. The slighly detoriated state makes it even more beautiful in our opinion. Go see this miracle and don't forget to leave some money for the restoration fund.…

Disclaimer: I have a weakness for medieval Gothic churches. That said, Eglise Catholique Collegiale Saint-Martin is a gothic beauty. Churches such as these have unadorned exterior walls and give no clue to what lies within. Entering through the side door, you enter the vast nave with classic gothic architecture, grand altar, beautiful chapels and stained glass. And a giant pipe organ. Beautiful old church in Saint Remy. Saint-Martin built in 14th century gothic style. Worth a visit and a donation for the restoration efforts.

This is a wonderful place to visit in St-Remy, again very nostalgic and tranquil, worth supporting the efforts of the people who are painstacingly restoring this church.
