I have used this uplift a few times. Last week we went up for the Freeride event and the whole thing was organised excellently. The staff were friendly and the lift efficient.

See my review of Le Grand Montet. 2 chairs take you to close to 10,000 ft. Coming down, walk to the Argentiere glacier. Going on to the top of the glacier was more than worth it. A dicey trail on which good boots are suggested,...More

Chamonix is a cute town, but over-the-top touristy to the extent that the authenticity has been trodden out. The Telepherique is only OK and not worth the money during the summer on a rainy day. Winter skiing is totally different, but don't go out of...More

Very nice ride and great views on Grande Montest and many summits, strongly recommend to visit. And Grands Montets is the best place for skiing in Chamonix valley, so a must for me.
