Calm and relaxing

This place is an oasis on a hot summer's day, particularly with young kids. It's well shaded, yet bright - and with the glacier melt water - a good place to cool down!

Hired a fat bike and cycled through here in the snow, really beautiful area! Highly recommended, I think it would be equally gorgeous in summertime!

We found this place while walking the Chamonix Valley walk. After our first visit we came back twice more. It is a very relaxing place, our lunch here was good and the pitcher of beer was also very good. The staff are nice and friendly. It is very popular with young families as there are excellent outdoor facilities for children

Stopped here for a drink on our walk into Le Praz. Rustic little cafe, very family friendly with Shetland pony rides and play equipment for kids. Great.

Beautiful stop if you are in Chamonix or heading to Lac Blanc. This entire area is gorgeous in the Spring, with colorful flowers blooming, brightly painted Chateau homes and the lovely back drop of the Alps.

Although the place is basically just a playground with a small cafe, it still worth a visit for families staying in Chamonix area. Especially nice it is during a hot summer day, as a small river flows through the area and provides a cooling place from children and adults. The nearest parking place is by the golf course, but also... More

We walked here from Chamonix along the mountain path. It is quite a long walk but we took it slowly and really enjoyed the clean fresh air. When we arrived at Le Paradis des Praz we had lunch at a cafe there. It is a beauty spot with stream running through. We caught the train back from La Tennes which... More

The walk through the forest was beautiful, and our boys loved the stream and swings and the bunny. However, the website is really lacking in basic information ( like opening times/days). And, although it looked to us like the ponies would still be there in late September, they weren't. The woman who was working that morning was not very helpful... More

This is a mini paradise in a woodland location. Particularly pretty on a warm summers day. Small Shetland pony rides for little ones. mini lakes and play areas for kids and a basic café/picnic place for parents to sit and watch. Anyone else would not stay long.
