Average aquarium, bit pricey but worth a visit

Nice aquarium, not that big, quite pricey considering that. Worth a visit though and especially fun for children. Friendly staff. There is a café but it has very limited opening... read more

Took my twin 5 year grand daughters here last month, our 2nd visit they love it racing from tank to tank trying to spot the fish especially the zebra fish Nemo and now of course Dory. Reasonable snack bar food a bit basic.

I would suggest to buy tickets on line since they are less expensive. It will be enough to show them on the phone without printing. As for the quality of the place it is nice but not as much as I supposed. Children happy but sincerely there are better and bigger aquarium around Europe. Genoa ?

Took my youngest there and it was just at the limit to be interesting enough for 8 years old. It is small compare to other aquariums that we have been to and the ticket was a bit expensive.

Brochure makes it look bigger than it really is. They have a good variety of species from around the world and the aquarium is divided into regions. There was a little cafe inside along with a touch pond and souvenir shop when you exited.

Our children (11, 8) both enjoyed the aquarium and the diverse exhibits. It's a small aquarium (in comparison to others we've been to in New Orleans, Hull, London) and cost €52 for the four of us. I think for the size and quality the price could be less, but in the end I don't feel cheated and our children really... More

With the rain pouring down we decided this would be a nice option. The displays were well marked with some English. Lots of children. Healthy looking tanks, I have visited a lot of aquariums and this one was nice.

I went to this aquarium with my 3 nieces and we loved it. Coming from St Etienne it is located just before entering Lyon and therefore no traffic jam to fear. A large variety of fishes - salt & fresh water species, even a tiger shark ... A fish-feeding demonstration and very interesting advices also for your home aquarium by... More

I went there for an exceptional dinner for a conference. A tour with a guide was provided. It was interesting but the speech was mainly directed to kids. However the place is nice and have a quite big amount of different fishes and sea animals (sharks, piranha, turtles, clown fish,...) The guide provide a lot of interesting anecdotes about every... It was a small aquarium. Even the biggest fish tank was not anything spectacular. There is no tunnel where you see the fish swimming above you. For small kids under 5 it's a good place, because the visit doesn't take too much time. For adults it can be little boring. There's a nice gift shop.
