Skiing

Great skiing, beautiful scenery 3rd time I have been. Plenty of runs, lift system needs updating in parts but don't let that put you off.

What a truly beautiful area. Stayed in Cordon and directed through Combloux, stunning little town which have to go back to, to Princesse Parking. Free parking at the base of Mont d'Arbois with Ski rental and Ski School. So convenient for first timers like us. Ski school is excellent and the Gondola to the top has picturesque views. Piste is... A varied ski area that drops down to different villages around mont d'arbois. Good lift system, mountain restaurants and protected slopes in certain area so skiing always possible whatever the weather.

Don't miss out on skiing Mont D'Arbois! The runs off the back down to St Gervais are great for beginners and intermediates. Try the Finance run for a good blue as long as the snows there and you'll get the faster lift back to the top after a nice long run. BETTEX is worth a try too and if your... More

The ski area is much more comfortable than all other (we have tried all). The lower rest area / bar / restaurant is much better than all. definitely would recommend this area over all. Direct connection to Cabosch and Megeve.

As above, good variety of skiing and some reasonably places mountain food. Lively places too! Some sensible reds, some black and plenty of blue/green. One is able to drop down to St Gervais.

The variety of piste is good and the pisteurs do a great job but the lift system is ancient.....easily the worst I've seen. This is a resort where a beer costs £10, accommodation is extortionate and food is way overpriced. All that then you have to queue to get on a button for 40 minutes. Do not go at half... More

Pretty ok but fragmented area, you need to ski a lot on different transfer routs from one lift to another. Some very lousy lifts as well.

Great skiing on this side of the mountain, been coming for 5+ years and love skiing between the trees, on quiet pistes with real character. Ok they could badly do with more snow this year, - that's nature, but there's still plenty of great pistes open.
