Lovely to stroll across the bridge (no traffic permitted) and enjoys the views up and down the river Rhine. Some super views of the whole of Schloss Heidelberg and the old town. Best on a dry day to fully appreciate the beauty of the area.

A super place to get great photos of the castle and the old town if you don't feel like walking up the philosopher's way. Highly recommended.
