This castle was the summer residence of Karl. Here is the name of the city - Karlsruhe - Karl’s silence. This palace is very beautifully and worth to visit! Behind it there is a marvelous big park with ancient trees and places to for rest.

The palace garden is beautiful but the park behind it is even more so. Took a walk with my significant other and it was relaxing and romantic.

Even if you don't want to see the palace you can see the gardens for free which are vast and children love them. The palace is easy to find and reasonable price for a visit but not pushchair friendly. Well worth a visit.

I rate the palace as very good for the tower views and for their 20th century memorabilia galleries that brought back memories of my late mother. Apart from that the experience was rather average. A bit of local history, a bit of archaeology, a bit...More

Very pleasant visit, items are well organized and the collection ranges from the ancient times to the modern age. However, for us silly international tourists, almost everything was written in German, without translations in any other languages. Moreover, museum staff was a little bit rude...More
