This is the history of the Mercedes-Benz car with examples of every car ever made. It is a beautiful museum and a stunning collection. Stuttgart is the home of Mercedes so this is where this museum should be. The absolute must see place in Stuttgart

The museum is easily accessible by public transport so staying in anywhere with a direct access to public transport would be OK.

If going by train, you can hop on one from Wiesbaden Hbf to Estacion central de Stuttgart, then switch to local train (S1 line) to Stuttgart neckarpark stop. It's a 12-15min walk.
