A great place to walk to on a friday summer evening. The square is lively with street musicians, plenty of cafes, loads of shops (a bit pricey) and lots of people. Nice atmosphere.

Very pretty place to walk and hang out. Fountains and the Schloss. There are restaurants and cafes to sit and people watch.

Pair of large fountains on this large central square.Some interesting buildings plus statue of king William,cafes and restaurants .Ad\jacent to main shopping area. Pleasant on a sunny day.

We sat with friends enjoying a drink and soaking up the sunshine overlooking these lovely gardens. Water in the fountains was lovely and clear. Lots of families enjoying.

Visited on a weekend during the summer and the sun was up in it's full flow. The place was full of people and I enjoyed watching people enjoying themselves in the sun. Good vibes.

You can see everything from here. The castle/palace, the restaurants, street actors and concerts. You name it, it happens here and all right in the middle of the city. Only thing missing is a changing of the guard. Don't miss the museums nearby.

About a 30 minute train journey from the airport and then a 10 minute walk from the main station.
