Beautiful place and it's free! we enjoyed an afternoon walk through its beautiful gardens and I really loved the coloured stoned wall. We were lucky to see a wedding celebration here. Definitely a romantic and lovely place. The water show in the fountains was amazing too.

This is a nice, relaxing, park-like spot to visit just to walk around or to sit and have a coffee. I once met one of the opera singers in a Ring production at the Festspielhaus here. No great tourist sights, it's main value is just relaxation away from the opera hustle and bustle.

Fantastic place, especially the original Altes Schloss. The water feature alone in the Altes Schloss is worth the entrance fee. The engineering that went into this over 200 years ago and still functioning is amazing. The Altes Schloss is the main attraction. The photos of the gilded palace is what you most of but that building is relatively new and... More

This 18th century hide away for the local nobility (related to the Prussian King) is well worth a visit. Park and gardens are well maintained and the habit of building ready made ruins that the builders had gives this place now a lot of patina. Mark the beautiful views along the main axes around the two main buildings. For the... More

It's a park with some fantasy buildings, just built for fun: Fountain figures surprising splash water and buildings that were designed a priori as ruins. The park is ideal for walks. In the cafe, which is housed in the Orangerie, a piece of "Markgräfin Wilhelmine pie" is recommended!
